The first thing you will notice when you see these two together is their smile and love for each other. As cheesy as this sounds, it is definitely true to the core.

You can see the twinkle in Kristine's eyes every time she looks at Farris.

We met Kristin and Farris for the first time and were knew they are our kind of couple. They were a very happy, sweet and totally in love.

Kristin comes from Italian background and Farris comes from Lebanese. Being a cross cultural couple ourselves, were were super excited to capture their precious moments.

Even though Kristin is Italian, she has never been to Italy. Farris stole this golden chance and decided to propose to her in Italy making that trip no only memorable but also very special

It was also on the same trip when Farris took her to Cannes as well, Kristine was one of the celebrities in the eyes of the photographers at the event.

Fast forward to the wedding day, we were blown away how gorgeous this wedding turned out. Kristine and Faris planned, sophisticated black tie wedding at the unique Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Washington DC.

As a wedding photographers, we are always awaiting to see the dress my brides choose. Kristine’s Berta Bridal Dress was truly a showstopper. It is was just perfect with a grand train  giving us some gorgeous pictures near the grand windows, on the spiral stairs and also outdoor around the venue. This dress has a character to shine bright in all the moods throughout the whole day from getting ready pictures to rocking the dance floor.

Lets talk a little about this venue. When we went for location scouting few weeks before Kristin and Farris wedding, we fall in love with the venue instantly.  The venue was grand and at the same time has a unique character of a artsy boutique. We could not help ourselves but take test shots of so many picturesque backdrops for couple portraits. You probably saw the staircase from Kimpton Hotel Monaco multiple  times scrolling through your Instagram. Isn’t it the most instagramable and photogenic stair case?! it is must have on every DC blogger feed.

Let me tell you, I love the non tradition entrance when mom and dad escorted Farris down the aisle.  How cool is that when Kristin walked down the isle, and her bridal party was on both sides of the receiving lane. The main ceremony hall had a very unique design of being lit in the center by a glass top. It gives the vibe of light from heaven blessing the couple during the ceremony. It looked stunning when Farris and Kristine were in the ceremony hall and said “I do” The ceremony under the doom, circled by closest friends and family and surrounded by natural light coming from sunroof was very serene.

Having captured their moments of the pre ceremony pictures inside the hotel, we wanted to bring in a favor of the metro chic vibe for the wedding party.

We have taken the bridal party outdoors and chose to photograph them on the steps of National Gallery of Art. It is right across the street and has enough space to capture the large bridal party. We could also capture beautiful bridal portraits showcasing the grand train of Kristin’s wedding dress, beautiful back light pictures with the urban vibe along with telling the story of how much fun this bridal party was having.

This wedding was a sight to please in terms of the very many cool details, starting from non traditional getting ready leopard robes of the beautiful brides maids and ending with classy black tie groom and grooms man attire.

The night was alive, filled with laughter and joyous with a great mix of American, Italian and Lebanese music mixed in. The Lebanese group dance is a sight to watch that show cases the fun and the straight of a family.
